About My Suburban Garden
I’ve been passionate about gardening and now live in the suburbs of Denver, CO. This area has its own issues in terms of gardening, such as a short gardening season.
I like having a yard and am trying to figure out the best way to maximize it. I don’t want it to just be lawn and waste water. More and more, I’ve been turning lawn areas into gardening areas. I have been increasing and expanding my gardening beds and am trying to find ways to grow more productive plants such as vegetables and herbs along with beautifying my home with flowers.
I’ll try to share what I learn about gardening, including the specifics of gardening in CO. I will also share my triumphs and frustrations.
