My educational background includes an MBA in Market Strategy, bachelors in English Writing and Psychology, certificates in Asian Studies, Legal Studies and Contract Management.
My work experiences include public relations, advertising, marketing, sales, free-lance writing for various publications, teaching writing & literature and contract management.

- Marketing and contracts management support: provided marketing support and contracts administration to companies of various sizes.
- Writing, editing, blogging: I have been writing since adolescence when I won an essay contest. I was a staff writer for The Pitt News during college in the late 80’s and started free-lance writing in 1998. My articles have appeared in “Masala Magazine,” “Vegetarian Times,” Vegetarian Baby & Toddler,” “ABCDLady,” “Real Travel Adventures,” “Examiner,” “Livestrong” and “The Pitt News.” I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing – Magazine Track from the University of Pittsburgh. I have taught writing to preschoolers through seniors.
- Business and Personal Coaching: Provided coaching to those starting and expanding small businesses and individuals seeking personal growth and clarification. Provided counseling on a suicide hotline and to women at two battered women’s shelters.
