You Are the Sky

Rest, Reflect, and Reconnect

Book cover featuring a serene landscape with a tree, river, and mountains during sunset. The title 'You Are The Sky' is displayed prominently along with the subtitle 'Rest • Reflect • Reconnect' and the author's name 'Pria Acharya'.

A gentle mindfulness companion for sensitive souls and the inner children we are still learning to care for.

You Are the Sky is an illustrated invitation to pause, breathe, and remember that you are more than the thoughts, feelings, and experiences moving through you.

Like weather passing through an open sky, emotions arise and change. Thoughts gather and disperse. Difficult moments can feel consuming—but they are not the whole of who we are.

The sky remains.

Through simple reflections, gentle mindfulness practices, and calming illustrations, You Are the Sky offers a place to return to when life feels overwhelming, uncertain, or simply too full.

A Book to Return To

Rather than asking you to fix yourself or become someone different, You Are the Sky encourages a softer kind of awareness: noticing what is here, making room for it, and meeting yourself with compassion.

Inside, you’ll find reflections on:

  • tending to the mind with care
  • the power of the pause
  • creating space around difficult thoughts and emotions
  • simple tools for grounding and reconnecting
  • remembering that sensitivity is not “too much”
  • returning to the steadiness beneath changing experience

Read it from beginning to end, open to a page when you need one, or keep it nearby as a quiet reminder to come home to yourself.

You Are Not the Weather

Clouds gather.

Storms come.

Sometimes they seem to fill the entire sky.

But the clouds are not the sky.

They move.

The sky remains.

Mindfulness helps us recognize that our thoughts, feelings, and experiences can move through us without entirely defining us.

That recognition is at the heart of You Are the Sky.
